Actually, Splunk has two meanings. First, it is a US-based company that developed a platform for working with Big Data. And, the second is the name of the aforementioned platform, Splunk. So, these are two meanings, you can choose which one you like more.

Počet potvrzených případů COVID-19 v České republice roste. Nejen proto velmi oceňujeme, že se náš kolega Marek Hlaváček s celým svým týmem rozhodl vytvořit aplikaci, která by šíření viru sledovala a pomáhala ho tak zpomalit. V dubnu letošního roku tuto aplikaci zdarma poskytli státním orgánům. A i přesto, že ji úřady nakonec do ostrého provozu nespustily, její betaverze získala mnoho zasloužených ocenění.

Mít zodpovědnost za správu systémů v nejlidnatější zemi světa s obrovskými a časově náročnými požadavky na IT rozhodně není snadný úkol. Přesto se zdá, že Petr a jeho tým všechny výzvy proměnili na velkou příležitost k dalšímu růstu. V druhé části rozhovoru jsme se Petra zeptali na agilní principy a způsob vedení týmu. Slyšeli jsme, že umíš skvěle vyložit principy agilního vývoje. Jaký je přístup k agilitě ve vaší divizi?
Vážně? Tak to rád slyším! Pro mne je agilita cestou ke změně způsobu myšlení. Vydat se na ni, to znamená začít každodenním přístupem, podporou těch, kteří, ve srovnání s ostatními, aktivně dosahují extra výsledků a milníků. Být co nejefektivnější a nenarušovat byznys je to nejmenší, co můžeme udělat.
Byznysu nezáleží na tom, jestli jsme agilní, ale jestli dobře a včas dodáváme výsledky a plníme své úkoly. Stále před sebou máme dlouhou cestu, hlavně nás čeká lepší nastavení rolí v týmech do tzv. „tvaru…
